Riverview Jazz is a Jersey City-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is to connect a diverse local/regional audience to the incredible music in the greater NYC metropolitan area. Working closely with community organizations, businesses, government, and talent, Riverview Jazz is able to bring a wide range of world-class performances to the people in their respective community.
Jersey City Jazz Festival
In 2023 the Jersey City Jazz Festival found a permanent home at the newly renovated Exchange Place Plaza. Situated at a transit hub with unparalleled views of NYC, the festival was an overwhelming success. Over 15,000 people attended the 4 day festival, which incorporated venues throughout town in addition to the Jersey City waterfront.
Over 200 musicians performed during the festival, including living legends such as Eddie Palmieri and Bill Frisell. The festival also included a wide range of musical styles featuring some of the best talent in the NYC-tristate area.
Jersey City Latin Jazz Festival
In 2024, RiverviewJazz.Org founded the annual Jersey City Latin Jazz Festival on the Jersey City waterfront featuring the best in Latin Jazz. The festival features dance lessons, kid friendly activities, food trucks, and the best Latin Jazz band in the region against the backdrop of the lower Manhattan skyline.
